We Can Help.

We Serve

  • Individuals

Individual counseling is designed for each separate person in collaboration with the counselor and may involve journaling, activities, workbooks, Scripture, reading, art, and/or music.

  • Children

Children’s therapy is specifically designed for children ages 8 and older due to virtual setting. During these 30-40 minute sessions, your child and I will work together using hands-on activities. Goals for these sessions will be determined on an individual basis, but can include things like behavior management, reduction in anxiety, and improved attachment.

  • Families

Family telehealth therapy sessions are interactive and fun! We combine therapeutic activities, humor, and developing deeper connections in your family relationships.

  • Our Process

We use a variety of evidence-based modalities to create a client-centered approach. All modalities are filtered through a biblical lens unless you specifically ask for a secular world view. Your therapy journey is unique and can be ongoing or for a set period of time.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

A common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy) in which we reshape negative and irrational thinking patterns that lead to problematic behaviors, to be replaced with positive thinking and behavior patterns through time together and working through mutually agreed upon goals.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

DBT uses a skills-based approach to teach mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal relationship building. It is more specific and practical in using specific skill sets, such as IMPROVE the moment (Imagery, Meaning, Prayer, Relaxation, One thing at a time, Vacation, and Encouragement). DBT uses many specific activities, skills, and mental/emotional exercises to work on managing our emotions, stress, and relationships.

  • Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication that promotes change, acceptance and compassion. We like to think of the Serenity Prayer: “God give us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

SFT focuses on an individual’s present and future circumstances and goals rather than the past. Counselors promote resiliency with clients and use scaling questions from 1-10 to assess symptoms, progress and stressors. We also use miracle questions to visualize a future in which specific stressors are resolved or managed.
